Organizations are complex systems in which all the parts are interconnected. To function effectively, attention must be given to designing the whole as well as integrating all of the parts.
Regardless of the status of an organization's "total system", we recognize that current needs may be most deeply felt in a particular segment. When this is the case, we assist in working on that area of most urgent need. When doing so we work with clients to identify linkages and support that are essential from other parts of the organization in order to sustain desired results.
The Client-Consultant relationship is most successful when it is a collaborative partnership; together we describe the organization's current state of effectiveness, define a vision for the future, and agree on what it will take to achieve it. This process is employed whether working on a large-scale organizational system change or within a particular segment of urgent need.
All organizations possess the collective knowledge they need to achieve highly effective results, though they may not have full access to it. Our models and processes are designed to make this intuitive knowledge and experience available.
